As I photographed this eclipse, I was reminded that life often unfolds in much the same way. True brilliance can be overshadowed by doubt, adversity, criticism, or the noise of the world. There are times when talent goes unnoticed, kindness is overlooked, and hard work seems hidden from view. Yet genuine light cannot be extinguished by a passing shadow.
The eclipse teaches a profound lesson that darkness may conceal, but it cannot conquer. What is real and enduring will eventually emerge again. Just as the Sun breaks free from the Moon’s silhouette and fills the sky with light once more, our strengths, character, and purpose have a way of shining through when the shadows pass.
The light is still there, even when we cannot see it. And when the moment is right, it will shine again!
